The AHYMO-S4 Program

AHYMO-S4 is an Arid Lands HYdrology MOdel. This program was based on the USDA Agricultural Research Service HYMO program. The current code for the AHYMO program contains approximately 8700 lines of Fortran Source Code with approximately 600 lines of the code remaining from the original HYMO program. The AHYMO-S4 program has been modified to include the following features:

* Ability to run on computers using Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit), Vista and XP operating systems.

* Ability to accommodate 99 simultaneous hydrographs and 4000 data points within a hydrograph. This is useful for evaluation is urban watersheds. This allows analysis of watersheds with thousands of sub-basins.

* Analysis of watershed time of concentration/time to peak using NRCS upland method, NRCS TR-55 method, Snyder's Lag Time method, Kirpich method and the Albuquerque Upland/Lag Time method.

* Computation of hydrographs based on the NRCS (formerly the SCS) and Initial Abstraction/Uniform Infiltration Method.

* Routing through dams, natural and lined channels, and storm sewer pipes.

* Evaluation of sediment transport and sediment yield. The program can accommodate analysis of sediment bulking factors.

The cost of a single computer license for the AHYMO-S4 Program is $280.00 plus 6.625% tax.

LICENSED USERS OF THE AHYMO_97 PROGRAM
If you or your firm purchased a single or site license for the AHYMO_97 program, Anderson-Hydro will grant you an equivalent license to use the AHYMO-S4 program with no additional cost. This offer does not apply to testing or classroom versions of the AHYMO_97 program, and is subject to change without further notice. If your firm now has a single computer license for the AHYMO_97 program and wants to obtain a site license for the AHYMO-S4 program, Anderson-Hydro will grant credit for the AHYMO_97 program purchased. If your firm has one single computer license for AHYMO_97, you can obtain a site license to use AHYMO-S4 for $560.00 plus 6.625% tax.

SITE LICENSES:
If your company obtains three single computer licenses for the AHYMO-S4 Program, including license transfers from AHYMO_97, Anderson-Hydro will provide a site license for an unlimited number of users at a single site. If you purchase a total of four licenses for the program, Anderson-Hydro will grant a second site license for an unlimited number of users at a second site.

GOVERNMENT AGENCY LICENSE
Anderson-Hydro will grant a site license for the AHYMO-S4 program to government agencies (city, county, regional, state, or Federal) with no license fee. This license is for use only by employees of the government agency at the offices of the agency. To obtain a government agency license, send your agency name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and contact name to ahymo@ahymo.com and the licensing information will be sent to you.

UNIVERSITY LICENSE
Anderson-Hydro will grant a site license for the AHYMO-S4 program to colleges and universities with no license fee. Licenses are normally issued to individual departments, and the license request should come from a university faculty member or staff member. The license is only for educational use by faculty and students of the university. To obtain a university license, send your school name, department name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and contact name/information to ahymo@ahymo.com and the licensing information will be sent to you.

TEMPORARY EVALUATION COPY OF AHYMO-S4
You can obtain a temporary evaluation copy of the AHYMO-S4 program by downloading the following file. This file is a fully functional version of the program with use limited by time. The program is contained in a password protected zip file, and you must obtain the zip password to open the program files. You can right-click on the name to save the ZIP file to your computer. Please email your name, organization name, and email to ahymo@ahymo.com and the zip password will be sent to you.
